“PHMSA’s U10B Strikers took first place at the Comstock Shootout, third place at the Pacifica Fog Classic, reached the quarterfinals at the Davis World Cup, and in the process learned what it meant to play as a team. Our players thrilled us with their exciting games, and our parents were always positive and supportive, on and off the field. Each player had a standout season and inspired their teammates and coaches alike.”

“This has been an interesting season both from a league stand point and from a coaching stand point. As a first year select coach it has also been a huge learning curve. I think that it is great that so many PHMSA teams took home medals in the various tournaments. One of my teams highlights was taking second in the Pacifica tournament. I also enjoyed the camaraderie between the PHMSA teams. When we played the Alliance team in Pacifica for 1st and 2nd both sets of parents formed a huge tunnel for all of the girls at the end of the game. We also had a number of games where The Phoenix came and did our cheers and our tunnels with us.
I think that it was a successful season for PHMSA. I would like to congratulate everyone on a great season and I hope to see this program continue to do well in the years to come.
Thank you Doug for once again making things run smoothly! Thank you to all of the coaches and refs for helping to make PHMSA a wonderful place for all of our kids.”

“The U10 Girls Phoenix team had a great season! For our hometown tournament, SoccerFest we took 2nd place after an exciting and tough championship game against Concord Caos. We came back a couple weeks later at the Comstock Shootout Tournament and took 2nd place after 2- 5 min overtime periods and penalty kicks! We were so close in Concord Cup, only 2 pts away from making the championship game! We had a great time between all our tournaments, and team events like our Pajama Pasta Feed night, Spaghetti Factory dinners, Golden Skate afternoon, Baskin Robbins and of course the beach to name a few. The Phoenix girls have come so far in both their soccer skills and friendship bonds with their teammates. Way To Go Phoenix!!!”
