2010 PHMSA Cup Guidelines
Whenever possible, teams will set up on opposite sides of the field. Home team chooses side. Home team provides game balls.
Both teams will provide game cards to the referee.
At the end of the game, the game cards will be given to either the winning coach or the home team coach in the event of a tie.
Coaches will send game cards to their respective division coordinator as previously arranged.
The following point system will be used:
- 6 points for a win
- 3 points for a tie
- 1 point for a shut out
- 1 point per goal up to 3 goals max
- 1 point deducted for winning a game by more than 6 goals differential
- 1 point deducted for a player send off
- 1 point deducted for two cautions
- 6 points for a bye
- 8 points for a forfeit
- 6 points to each team if no referee shows up to officiate. Double forfeit.
Additional Rules:
- No artificial noisemakers allowed on fields
- No pets
- No protests
- The referee's decision is final.
