PHMSA is proud to announce that it has been invited again to send players and teams to AYSO's National Games. The AYSO National Games are held every two years and Regions are selected to participate via a lottery.
During the summer of 2012, the National Games will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee from July 1 -8 and will include teams from all over the country. Further details about the games are listed at AYSO's website at www.ayso.org/events/national_games.aspx
For the 2012 Games, PHMSA has been invited to send a U12 Girls team and a U14 Boys team. Thus, we will be putting together those teams to represent our Region at the games.
Selection procedures and tryouts for players interested in playing will be announced shortly. However, it is important for players and parents to understand that a player must participate in Fall 2011 season in order to be eligible for the National Games teams. Thus, if you are interested in participating but have not yet signed up for PHMSA's Fall Season, you have a short window of time to do so if you send in your paperwork via the Late Registration procedure outlined on the PHMSA website, www.phmsa.org.
Please check the PHMSA website frequently for updates. We expect to have an interest meeting, team tryouts and team formation in fairly short order to permit our teams to commence fund raising efforts immediately.

AYSO VIP's 20th Anniversary
In 2011, AYSO's VIP Program celebrates a 20th year anniversary. This program supports AYSO's "Everyone Plays" philosophy by providing a quality soccer experience
for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams.
