Spring Soccer

PHMSA’s Spring Season is focused on providing a fun soccer experience in a family environment based upon AYSO philosophies.  We aim to make it easy for busy families to include soccer within their existing busy spring schedules.  Our sessions are tailored to support younger players’ exploration of soccer and older players’ continued development.

Season Details and Session Format

  • Open to players aged 5-12yrs as of Feb 29, 2017
  • 10 x 1hr weekly Sunday sessions, commencing March 12, 2017 and ending May 21, 2017 with a break for Easter.
  • Location: Pleasant Hill Middle School
  • Weekly Sunday session times will be Noon-1.00 p.m.; 1.15 p.m.–2.15 p.m.; and 2.30 p.m.–3.30 p.m.
  • Session assignments will be communicated to all registered players by March 6.
  • Sessions led by experienced AYSO coaches, supported by professional coaches from UK Soccer Camps – no permanent teams are formed.
  • Session format will progress from individual player skill development, through structured group training, to short-sided team games.  Sessions for older players will be biased towards short-sided game-based learning.
  • End of Season Jamboree/World Cup event.
